About

ULPS

Upson-Lee Primary School teachers/staff work very hard to meet the needs of all students and to ensure they achieve at their highest potential.

We offer an exceptional learning environment where the youngest students are encouraged to question, research, imagine, analyze, and discover. Our dedicated and skilled educators create excitement for core curriculum subjects and engage students in activities that teach respect for diversity, develop young leadership potential, and foster community and social responsibility.

Upson-Lee Primary School serves students in grades K-2 in a grade-center environment. The school features a fully-automated media center and computer lab. All students receive instruction in Computers, Art/Agriculture, Music/Media and Physical Education (CAMP) in addition to core subjects. A Challenge program is available for gifted learners in all grades.

ULPS is an innovator in utilizing technology to increase student engagement and learning. It was the first school in the U.S. to install Promethean’s ACTIVboard Collaborative Classroom systems in every classroom. In 2017, the school completed a 1:1 computing initiative, providing students with frequent, integral use of technology across the curriculum. Upson-Lee Primary is accredited by AdvancEd (SACS/CASI) and is Accredited with Quality by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
