After reading "Me on the Map" by Joan Sweeney, first grade computer CAMP talked about their place on the map. They also created an infographic showing their place on the map.

In this computer CAMP rotation, Kindergarten has continued to practice logging into the computer using their username and password. They have practiced learning where the letters are located on the keyboard. They have also learned about tabs and how to close them. First graders are completing their "All About Me" infographic. Here are a few examples of their work. Second graders are continuing to work on their "All About Me" Google slide presentation. They have learned to insert and crop images, edit the fonts, background, slide transition and animation.

Happy Custodians' Day to the best of the best! ULPS is blessed with a great group of custodians. They are the quiet heroes of the school. They are the first to arrive each day to make sure our classrooms and hallways are spick and span before school begins. They clean up messes that no one else dares to touch and they are cheerleaders for our students, establishing positive relationships across the school. We are so thankful for Mr. Herb, Mrs. Paula, Mrs. Monica, Mrs. Ann, Mrs. Shirley, Mrs. Debra, Mr. Bobby, Mr. Jo, and Mr. William!
A special thank you to Thomaston Hospice for treating our custodians to a wonderful Big Chic lunch today.

Check out Mrs. Pope and Mrs. Dawson's 2nd grade classes working on a lesson called "Planning a Pizza Party".
